2013 Resolutions in review

What? you say. Already?

Well, it's almost the end of the first month of the year so I thought I'd just keep track of my progress so far...

1. My rigorous yoga practice ...

Is coming along splendidly! I started going to classes at a yoga studio. I forgot how much more beneficial it is going to a class than practising on my own. Also, I'm keeping a daily journal / private blog to keep track of my thoughts and progress. I started out the year doing yoga and/or meditation every day. But daily life creeps in and sometimes I don't get to do anything. However, i've been consistent with practising at least 3-4 times every week!

2. A photo every day ...

Is so much easier with my iPhone and the Collect App. The app sends me daily reminders in the evenings to make sure I have taken at least one photo that day. And I'm finding out the joys of Instagramming. Sorry, slow poke here, but hit me up @mrsjrizzle

3. One book a month ...

I added this resolution after reading The 25th Hour's challenge and decided to join in the fun. My book for January is done, and I'm working through my next book! Whee!!

  1. Hi! Great progress on your new year resolutions. I'm also enjoying my yoga classes after a long-long break. Don't have time to read a lot, but I'm into audio books this year :) Have a wonderful week!

  2. I've been good with my resolutions as well except I haven't done any work that pays. Keep it up!

  3. I promised myself to do Yoga every day for January and ended up doing it on Weekends. I'm just doing it at home accompanied by jogging and other exercises. I just can't do it regularly because I'm ... lazy. Hahaha :D Good for you, 3-4 times a week is fine and much better! :)

  5. Oh, you are doing great on your goals. I have to agree that being in a Yoga class really pushes you further than when you practice just on your own. I also love your 'pic a day' goal. I should try something like that. Right now my Instagram is 'a pic a week'. lol!
